Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website

About my counselling practice

I am a BACP Registered Member counsellor. I undertook my relational counselling training with Relate and I continue to work with Relate clients, who are seeking both relationship and individual counselling.

My approach is bespoke to each client or clients, depending on their goals, needs and preferences. I would typically suggest ways in which we could work together, based on different counselling theories, and it would be for you as the client or clients to decide whether that feels appropriate for you, at that point in time.

There can be many reasons as to why we may wish or not wish to work with a particular counsellor and so, before we commit to working together, I first offer a 2 minute free online consultation, which is an opportunity for us to meet virtually, for you to ask any questions that you may have and also for me to understand a little more about what is bringing you to counselling at this point in time.

Pronouns: she/her

I am also a British Wheel of Yoga trained yoga teacher and can offer wellbeing support through breathing awareness, simple seated stretches, meditation and relaxation techniques to complement our counselling work together and if desired.

These practices can be beneficial to many presenting issues such as stress, anxiety, or depression. They can help us to be more ‘present’ in our lives and bodies, which can be helpful when working through issues which may cause you to seek counselling.

From both a counselling and yoga perspective, women's health and well-being throughout the life cycle has been an area of particular interest for me. I have completed Menopause Yoga (MY) Teacher training and am an accredited MY yoga teacher. I have also previously taught specialist yoga classes for pregnant and post-natal women.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and I wish you all the best for any counselling journey you may decide to embark on at this point, or in the future.
